My latest projest is a total refurbishment of a 25+ year old strat copy from a now defunct Asian company (Legend). It has a full width piano black body, nice rosewood neck and decent tuners. I will be adding S/H HSS pick-ups, tort guard plus the following will all be new parts: NW Guitars tremolo bridge, Alpha brass bushed pots, switch, paper in oil cap and Gilmour electronics. I will post pictures when it is completed. I am expecting to sell it for sub £200.00.

LATEST - November 2024.

My latest projest is for a local musician who would like his Fender Telecaster (currently a Wilko Johnson tribute) retro - fitted with a B5 type Bigsby, stainless steel flat bridge plate and a Seymour Duncan 5 - 2 bridge pickup. He has chosen to do this as he has recently purchased a beautiful Chapman ML3 Pro Traditional (like mine) which has scratched his standard format telecaster itch, allowing him to turn his existing Fender into a country / rock machine.

LATEST - September 2024.

My latest completed project is a stereo pedal board build for one of my regular customers.
It consists of a new Pedaltrain board, a new Fender 'Engine Room' power supply and a myriad of highly desirable pedals that the gentleman has collected through the years!

LATEST - August 2024.

My latest completed project is a makeover of my everyday strat, paying homage to
Billy Joe Armstrong's incredible performance with Green Day at the 2024 Isle of Wight Festival.
Massive energy for a two hour set to close the festival, and I am still playing and singing the songs today. It's well worth watching the full video on YouTube if you are into tuneful punk music like me!

LATEST - June 2024.

My latest project on the bench is a complete refurbishment of 1978 Fullerton factory, USA Fender Stratocaster.

This is a customers guitar that was modded during the 90's with a Kahler bridge, different electronics and Sperzel locking tuners.

The customer has requested me to return it to it's original specification except for the tuners as Fender went on to use Sperzels on their later premium models.

The bonus is that the customer is moving house and doesn't want the guitar back for a couple of months so I can use it until then!
